Media Literacy

Tierna Unruh-Enos is a multi-media journalist from New Mexico. Currently, she is the Sales and Events Director at the Weekly Alibi, an independent alternative weekly newspaper. She leads a team of talented communications and media professionals at the Weekly Alibi.

Tierna has a background in broadcast television and radio, as well as government communications and public relations. She has worked at several television news stations covering New Mexico, southern Colorado and east Texas.

She served as the communications and marketing director for the City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department, and has currently been with the Weekly Alibi for 4 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Prescott College, in Prescott, Arizona. She is a member of New Mexico Press Women and the New Mexico Press Association.

In her spare time, she is working on an independent podcast investigating the cold case of the West Mesa murders in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
