Navy Medical Service Corps

Rear Adm. Mark E. Pipes is deputy commander/director of Navy & Marine Medical Service Corps, with active service in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990, Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait and Iraq in 2003, and led  the Navy Expenditionary Medical Unit in Landstuhl,, Germany, during Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom in 2008. He is the recipient of the Legion of Merit, and Meritorious Service Medal from both the Navy and Marine Corps.
