Where are you from originally?

I was born and raised in Oregon. Left Oregon after graduation & joined the USAF in September 1962. I spent 30 years in the Air force, retired in 1992, as a Chief Master Sgt. (highest enlisted rank in the AF). In my 30 years in the AF I was stationed at Castle AFB Ca; Cape Romanoff Alaska; Fairchild AFB Wa; Norton AFB, Ca; Supreme HQ Allied Powers Europe Mons Belgium; Forbes AFB KS; Ubon Royal AB Thailand & Ben Hoa AB Vietnam; 25th Air Division/NORAD McChord AFB WA; Tactical Control Flight Rhein Grafenstein, Germany; George AFB CA; McChord AFB WA, 22AF Travis AFB Ca; McChord AFB WA, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander Airlift Forces & First Sgt. 1610 Airlift Division, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Desert Shield/Desert Storm) and back to McChord to retire. Moved to Albuquerque in 1993, when wife was assigned as the Commandant at the Kirtland NCO Academy.
 
 

Tell us about your occupation.

Bought into a printing business in 1995 (One Stop Business Shop) located in the village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. Sold the business in 2007 and contracted with the new owners over the years officially retiring in 2020. Our business plan was I would join Rotary in 1997 & my partner would continue in the local Kiwanis club.
 
 

Why did you join Rotary and what is your favorite Rotary experience?

My favorite Rotary experience was being the President of the Del Norte Rotary club during the Rotary 100 year celebration 2004 – 2005. I have enjoyed my friendship with the many Rotarians throughout our district 5520.
 

What does your perfect weekend look like?

My perfect weekend is golfing with my friends.
