The Rotary Club of Albuquerque Del Norte (short name – Del Norte Rotary Club) was chartered on February 23, 1988, with its charter membership totaling 80 (currently Del Norte has over 100 members). It was the first new Rotary Club, in Albuquerque, in 72 years!
The Rotary Del Norte Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1989, a year after the Club was founded. From that date to this, every member of Del Norte Rotary Club has been a member of the Foundation. The Foundation – in essence, the giving arm of the Del Norte Rotary Club – is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from the club’s membership.
During its over 34 years of service, Del Norte Rotary Club has been a visible force as a service club reaching out to help those within our community and around the world, who need a helping hand. Please join our “Greatest Rotary Club in the World!” We need your time, talent and desire to help us continue to serve our communities. Together we have the ability to make a difference in the lives of others, locally and globally!
