The Grand Canyon

Dr. Karl E. Karlstrom and Dr. Laura Crossey are professors in the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences, University of New Mexico. Dr. Karlstrom's main research interests involve structural geology and tectonics, including neotectonics and landscape evolution of the western U.S. He started his Grand Canyon research when he was a professor at NAU from 1983-1991; he has continued his Grand Canyon research while at UNM, since 1991.
