Himalayan Stove Project

George Basch is an adventurer and philanthropist, who started his Himalayan Stove Project which has distributed more than 3,000 lightweight and clean-burning cook stoves to villages in the Nepal Himalayas since 2010. According to George, four million people world-wide die each year from the effects of household air pollution caused by dirty cook stoves. His organization's slogan is "Changing the World One Clean Cookstove at a Time."
